ACADEMIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

Academic Affairs is the legislative arm of SGA that coordinates all academic issues between the student body and the administration of Texas A&M University. All academic policy regarding tuition, class registration, class sizes, textbooks, grades, scholarships, credit transfer, core curriculum, etc. is formulated in Academic Affairs. The Academic Affairs Committee works closely with the Provost’s Office, Faculty Senate, Graduate & Professional Student Government, Texas A&M University Libraries, individual college administrators, and many others to further student’s interests. The Academic Affairs Committee also reviews and approves all student applicants to be members of the Texas A&M Honor Council.
